Weather Thursday Morning Until Friday Morning

1/4 inch of ice and 2-6 inches of snow and sleet for the Moore/Norman area. South of us will get hit worse with the ice. Of course the exact boundaries can still shift north or south and we won't know for sure what happens until it gets here.

What Killed OKC's Downtown

In Wichita this weekend. From what little I've seen so far Wichita's
downtown kick's OKC's downtown's butt by far. The biggest thing I've
noticed is that downtown here is connected to the river directly, sits
along it and embraced it. So I think the decision decades ago to kill
the Oklahoma River by building Overholser dam and subsequent drastic
flood control of the river is what killed OKC's downtown.
